What to expect at your visit, how insurance works at our office, and how to book online.
Your visit
What to expect, step by step
Your visit is mostly about getting to know each other and understanding your smile. We’ll take a good look, explain what we find, and answer your questions.
01
Tell us your history
Bring a list of any medications you take and let us know about your medical history. If dental visits have been hard for you in the past, tell us — we offer nitrous oxide for our high-anxiety patients.
02
A careful look
We check your teeth, gums and bite, and include an oral cancer screening as part of the exam.
03
Digital images
Digital X-rays and intraoral camera photos, so we can show you what we see on the screen rather than only describe it.
04
Your cleaning, when it applies
A cleaning is included at this visit if you’ve had one within the last five years and you’re scheduled with one of our hygienists rather than with a doctor. If not, we’ll schedule it once we’ve seen where things stand — ask the front desk when you book and they’ll tell you which applies to you.
05
A plan for your care
We go over what we found and your options together, and we’ll answer your questions before anything gets scheduled.

Booking & forms
Book online, or give us a call.
Request your appointment online whenever it suits you, or call the office at (847) 336-2800 and our front desk will find a time that works. Our patient portal is where you’ll fill out your forms, pay, and see your statements and account information.

Out of network with all insurances.
We are out of network with all insurances. Many of our patients still have out-of-network benefits they can use, and how much a plan covers varies from one plan to the next. Because of that, the most useful thing we can do is look at it with you rather than guess. Give us a call at (847) 336-2800 or stop by the front desk, and our team will be glad to go over your options with you before you schedule any treatment.
A few practical things
Arabic and Spanish spoken
Our doctors speak Arabic, and four members of our staff speak Spanish, so you can talk about your care in the language you’re most comfortable in. Let us know when you book and we’ll make sure someone is available.
Children of all ages
We see children of all ages as well as adults, so the whole family can be cared for in one friendly office.
Nitrous oxide is available
We offer nitrous oxide for our high-anxiety patients. Let us know when you book so we can have it ready for your visit.
